Bellagio sits on the promontory that divides Lake Como into two branches. It is a village of cobbled lanes, historic villas and artisan workshops, and it is here that we have been mouth-blowing and hand-painting our glass ornaments since 1979.

A village tradition
Bellagio has a long history of blown-glass Christmas ornaments. Bellagio Glass Ornaments grew out of this tradition and carries it forward every day, with the same techniques and the hands of artisans from the lake.
Every piece that leaves our workshop carries a little of this place with it: the light on the lake, the colors of the villas, the patience of handmade work.
A keepsake from Lake Como, to hang on the tree every year.
The lake, painted on glass
Views of Bellagio, the ferries, the Lucia boat, the lakeside villas: the landmarks of Lake Como, hand-painted one by one on our ornaments.

At our factory store you’ll find all our collections and can watch our artisans at work: glass blown over the flame and decorations painted by hand, one piece at a time.

Three places we love

Villa Melzi
Lakeside gardens with statues, azaleas and views over the Como branch of the lake.

Villa Serbelloni
The park that covers much of the promontory, with gardens and woods of centuries-old trees.

The old village
Cobbled lanes and stairways, old houses and shops overlooking the lakefront.
