How an ornament is made
Five steps, all done by hand in our Bellagio workshop. No molds, no mass production: just glass, flame, brushes and time.

The glass
It all starts with a tube of high-quality borosilicate glass. The artisan heats it by hand over the flame until it is soft enough to be worked.
This is the most delicate moment: a few seconds too many or too few change everything.

The breath
The shape comes from breath and hands, with no industrial molds. The glass takes shape while it is still unstable: learning to blow a well-balanced ornament takes months of apprenticeship.
That is why every ornament has a shape all its own, each one slightly different from the rest.

The base coat
Once cooled, the piece receives its base color: an inner silvering with 999 silver that makes it shine like a mirror, or an outer color, glossy or matte.

The decoration
This is where each piece finds its identity. Our decorators paint entirely by hand, one detail at a time: base coats, shading, glitter and finishing touches.
It takes years of experience to decorate with consistency and precision.

The packing
Every piece is inspected, protected and packed by hand, ready for its journey. It’s the final touch: invisible, yet essential.
Every ornament is one of a kind
Every ornament comes to life through one person’s breath and brush, one at a time. That is why each piece has a character all its own: subtle nuances in shape, size and decoration that make it truly unique, and that no machine could ever repeat.
