Mouth-blown glass, mold-free and hand-decorated Each piece is one of a kind Made entirely in Bellagio, Lake Como Where included, the metal cap is applied by hand
A hot air balloon in mouth-blown glass, hand-painted in our workshop in Bellagio on Lake Como: six colorful panels, each with a different subject, and a glass basket hung from golden cords. An original Christmas tree ornament, made in Italy.
The decoration
The balloon is painted by brush on every side, all the way around. Turning it, you find a yellow panel with white branches and leaves, a pink one with fuchsia glitter flowers, a red one with two ducks, a blue one with a green bird, an orange one with a lilac butterfly and a dark purple one with a light blue bird among blue roses. The panels are separated by a thin line of gold glitter; the basket is painted with brown brushstrokes.
Each piece is blown and painted individually in our workshop: the full decoration takes many hours of work, and the piece you receive may differ slightly from the photos, a sign of handwork.
