Set of 2 mouth-blown glass Christmas ornaments, painted entirely by hand in our workshop in Bellagio, on Lake Como: the words Buon Natale (Merry Christmas in Italian) among berries and Santa's smiling face on gold, to hang side by side on the tree or to give together. 100% made in Italy.
The decoration
Buon Natale is brush-painted in red script with a thread of gold glitter and a large flourish, among green sprigs and clusters of red berries, on a pearly white background. On the other ornament Santa has rosy cheeks, twinkling eyes and a white beard built up with soft brushstrokes, under a red hat trimmed with a sprig of holly, on a pale gold background. An Italian greeting and a classic portrait.
