Yellow glass rooster

Mouth-blown glass rooster, hand-decorated in our workshop in Bellagio, on Lake Como: clear yellow glass, a red comb and beak, amber glass feet and a friendly little face. An original Christmas tree ornament, made in Italy.

The decoration

The eyes are hand-painted, the chest is veiled in white glitter, and the comb, beak and feet are hot-shaped and applied one by one; the wings and tail are pulled from the glass with pliers.

Each piece is blown and decorated individually in our workshop: the one you receive may differ slightly from the photo, a sign of true handwork.
