This borosilicate glass sphere, mouth-blown and entirely hand-painted in our Bellagio workshop, features a luminous pearl white background that highlights the vivid colors of the cardinal, the protagonist of the scene.
The cardinal, painted in intense crimson red with black accents, is rendered with precise brushstrokes that define the softness of its plumage and the brilliance of its gaze. Small, hand-applied gold details illuminate the feathers and add depth to the decoration.
The subject is surrounded by a tangle of slender branches, forest-green leaves, and ruby-red berries, painted with rich colors and natural hues. The glossy berries, created with lustrous enamels, add a three-dimensional touch to the composition. The background is enriched with light blue glazes and white dots reminiscent of light snow.
The upper cap, finished in gold and applied by hand, completes the ornament with a precious and traditional detail.
