This 150 mm diameter sphere is made of mouth-blown borosilicate glass and decorated entirely by hand in our Bellagio workshop. The matte surface, in shades of gray-blue, forms the backdrop for a classic, luminous winter scene, rendered with the precision and softness of artisanal craftsmanship.
The front depicts a small church immersed in the snow, its bell tower standing out against the night sky. The golden yellow windows create a warm contrast with the cold landscape, while the snow is painted in shades of white, ivory, and pearl. The snow-covered trees in the background complete the silent, contemplative atmosphere of the landscape.
On the back, the decoration features a vertical hand-painted holly motif, with deep green leaves and bright red berries complemented by white details inspired by fresh snow. This ornamental element unites the two scenes and creates an elegant visual balance.
The cap is finished in gold, applied by hand, in keeping with the tradition of our master craftsmen.
Each sphere is unique, made without molds and characterized by subtle variations that testify to its entirely manual production.
